[Nagano] Hirata Sake Brewery Tour in Hida Takayama

Celebrate 130 years of tradition with a guided visit to Hirata Sake Brewery, which relocated to a new facility in 2024. This small-group tour offers an intimate look inside the brewery, where staff will guide you through the sake-making process and explain the craftsmanship behind each brew, followed by a tasting session. Founded in 1769 in Hida Takayama and transformed into a sake brewery in 1895, Hirata Sake Brewery blends centuries of history with refined brewing techniques. Using carefully selected rice such as Yamadanishiki, Hidahomare, and Isehikari, along with pure water from the Miyagawa River, the brewery creates sake rooted in the harmony of Ise and Hida’s climate, culture, and tradition.
