The Central Alps Komagatake Ropeway is a mountain ropeway that extends to the area known as "Senjojiki Cirque" just below Mt. Hokendake. The 950m elevation difference from the starting point Shirabidaira Station (1,662m) to the terminal Senjojiki Station (2,612m) is the greatest in Japan. Furthermore, Senjojiki Station is the highest-altitude station in Japan.
