What to expect

Sankeien Garden is a Japanese-style garden located in Sankei-en, Honmoku-Sannotani, Naka-ku, Yokohama. It was created by the industrialist and tea master Tomitaro Hara and features 17 historic buildings, including 10 that are designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan and 3 that are designated as Tangible Cultural Properties of Yokohama. The garden is designed to harmonize with the natural terrain and features rolling hills, ponds, and a variety of plants. The Sankei Memorial Museum, located within the garden, houses a collection of materials and artworks related to Sankei-en and Tomitaro Hara, with new exhibits rotated approximately once a month. The museum also includes a traditional tea room where visitors can enjoy matcha tea and a shop selling Japanese-style goods and sweets. In addition, there are three tea houses within the garden where visitors can try Sankei soba noodles and other sweets invented by Tomitaro Hara **- IMPORTANT -** **Please note that this voucher is an online e-ticket.
