**First Stop** * Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba - Overlooking Mt. Fuji, the Old Shirakawa-go Village in Fairy Tales (January 24, 25; February 14, 15, 21, 22, 23 (Mt. Fuji Day), 2026 - visiting Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba on the dates above) On the shore of Lake Saiko, overlooking Mt. Fuji and the Aokigahara Jukai (Sea of Trees), is Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba, a thatched-roof village just like the World Heritage Site of Shirakawa-go in Gifu Prefecture! About 20 thatched-roof houses have been restored, recreating the rural scenery of the time. * Saiko Wild Bird Forest Park - Saiko Ice Festival, enjoy the beauty of ice trees and Mt. Fuji in the same frame (January 31, February 1, 7, 8, 2026 - visiting Saiko Ice Festival on the dates above) The "Saiko Ice Festival," a limited-time event, is held every February in the Wild Bird Forest Park next to Lake Saiko, one of the Fuji Five Lakes.
