Zao Onsen Ski Resort is the largest ski resort in Northeast Japan. It has the famous ski resort "Yokokura no Wall", which provides high-quality powder snow experience, as well as other ski trails with varied terrain. The ski resort has 32 chairlifts and ropeways. The cable cars can reach the 1,661-meter-high mountain top area. The longest ski trail is more than 10 kilometers, allowing people to have fun. While enjoying skiing, you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the magnificent natural "juho" (frost-covered tree).
