Yamagami Dyeing Shop, with over 360 years of history, has dedicated itself solely to dyeing. We dye happi coats, hand towels, noren curtains, and more using traditional techniques. The shop building is designated as a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property and is open for tours. We also offer plant dyeing experiences using locally produced Murakami tea.
