The "Kiyotsu Gorge Tunnel " was renewed as an art piece called "Tunnel of Light" by Ma Yansong/MAD Architects at the "Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2018." The artwork is displayed at three observation points overlooking the great canyon of Seikyokyo and at the Panorama Station, which is the endpoint of the tunnel.
