- What to expect
-
This is an experience where you'll create your own original 60cm x 60cm furoshiki (wrapping cloth) using fabric recycled from unraveled kimonos. The venue is the storehouse of the Sairi Residence, a museum housed in the former residence of a wealthy merchant that prospered from the late Edo period to the early Showa period. In this historic space, you can experience the moment when fabric is reborn into a new form, and take home a usable souvenir as a memento of your trip.
