- Miharu Takizakura: Takizakura, one of Japan's three great cherry trees, is a famous tree that was designated as a national natural monument on October 12, 1922, the first cherry tree to do so. Countless small pale pink flowers bloom from the branches that stretch out in all directions, and it is said that it got its name "Takizakura" (waterfall cherry) because it looks just like a cascading waterfall.
- Weeping cherry trees on the Nicchu Line: The former Nicchu Line has been renovated into a bicycle and pedestrian path, with approximately 1,000 weeping cherry trees lined along the 3km stretch. The tunnel of weeping cherry trees is beautiful.
