Today, we will visit a total of four attractions: Lake Biwa Shirahige Shrine, Lake Biwa Observatory or Sanzen-in Temple, Mangetsuji Ukimido Temple, and La Collina Omihachiman. It will be a fulfilling itinerary, starting now. - First stop: Lake Biwa Shirahige Shrine, one of the oldest shrines in Omi Province. The shrine is famous for its unique torii gate on the water, which looks like a mysterious gate floating on the lake. In the early morning or at dusk, when the lake is calm, the torii gate and the lake reflect each other, creating a stunning picture. - Second stop: Lake Biwa Observatory (visitable from May 1, 2025 to October 31, 2025).
