The Miho Museum was designed by renowned architect I.M. Pei, based on the concept of "Peach Blossom Spring." Far from the city, the most unique feature is that 80% of the building is buried deep in the mountains. In summer, the forests are lush and the mountain roads are long. In winter, the museum is closed due to heavy snow.
Built in 991 AD, Hinamure Hachimangu Shrine boasts a history of over 1,500 years. Within its vast 44,000 square meter grounds, the shrine's lush greenery, like that of Mount Ali, is a striking sight.
