- What to expect

Visit the long-established shops in the town that was once known as "Otsu Hyakumachi," the 53rd post town on the Tokaido road, and enjoy a blissful souvenir feast! If you go on this course, you can get a full set of souvenirs from the post town of Otsu! You can also experience the townspeople culture of the ancient city of Otsu through the vestiges of the town houses where people used to live and the festival floats that carry on history. Along the way, you will be treated to the specialty "Mii-dera Chikara Mochi" and tea! [Walking distance: Approximately 2.7 km]
