The former Chikurin-in Temple was once one of the retirement homes for monks from Enryaku-ji Temple on Mount Hiei.

What to expect: This night-time illumination bus tour takes place in the Sakamoto area, the temple town of Enryaku-ji Temple on Mount Hiei. With the lights on for a limited time, you'll tour the sounds of the wind chimes at Saikyo-ji Temple and the beautiful gardens of the former Chikurin-in Temple.
