On this trip, your first stop is Miyama Village, a rural area in the mountains about 30 kilometers north of central Kyoto. Experience its traditional village atmosphere and admire the many hamlets nestled between mountains. Then, take a boat through Ine no Funaya. This coastal town is famous for its traditional wooden boat houses called "Funaya," which line up next to each other along the bay. Next, take a break with lunch at Amanohashidate restaurant! Your last stop is the stunning sandbar of Amanohashidate. This narrow strip of land is part of the Tango-Amanohashidate-Oeyama Quasi-National Park and is named one of the "Three Views of Japan" and "Kyoto by the Sea." Marvel at the 7,000 pine trees decorating the strip and the snow-capped mountains in the distance.
