Overview
  • Nishi Tottori Fishing Port, located in Hannan City, Osaka Prefecture, is a historic port that was formerly called Bodehama.
  • You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of nature, overlooking Awaji Island. In this area, full-scale oyster farming began in 2016 under the name "Bode no Oysters". In 2017, the first fishery cooperative in Osaka Prefecture, "Bode no Oyster Hut," opened, and it has become a popular spot for locals, providing many people with freshly caught oysters during the winter oyster season.
  • In this activity, a local veteran fisherman will guide you to the oyster hut. If ocean conditions are good, you can enjoy the farming scenery that you cannot normally see on this cruise experience. After watching the oysters being shucked, you can enjoy the freshly caught oysters in various ways, such as steaming and frying them. You can also pair the oysters with special hand-crafted sake brewed at a local sake brewery with over 300 years of history, founded in 1716 in Senshu, Osaka.
