This day will take you from the world-class heritage sites in Nara City to the surrounding rural secrets, experiencing a different side of Nara away from the crowds. Morning: Classic Nara and Cherry Blossom Buddha Nara Park & Wakakusa Mountain area, the heart of Nara. Here, you will stroll under about 1,700 Somei Yoshino cherry trees, watching the cherry blossoms and freely roaming deer create a healing scene. Todai-ji Temple (including ticket), visit the world's largest wooden building and worship the magnificent Great Buddha. Afternoon: Secret Exploration and Faith Blessing Hobukaji Temple (Minamihokke-ji Temple), leave the city and head to the mountainside of Takatori Town. Here, there is a 15-meter-high "Cherry Blossom Buddha." Thousands of cherry trees surround the Great Buddha, with solemnity and gentleness.
