* Todai-ji Temple Built in the 8th century, Todai-ji Temple is one of the most representative temples of the Nara period and is famous for the Great Buddha Hall, which houses the world's largest bronze Buddha statue, "Rushanabutsu." Every spring, the Yoshino cherry blossoms and mountain cherry blossoms around the temple bloom, and the pink flowers complement the magnificent wooden halls. Together with the Nara deer leisurely walking around, it creates a spring scene with unique Nara characteristics. The vast green space is covered with nearly a thousand cherry trees, which turn into a soft pink natural stage every spring.
