Write something you wish to leave behind, such as doubt, regret, or bad ties, on a wish tag, then change into a traditional hakama. Watch a live demonstration by a master using a real Japanese sword. After practicing proper techniques with an iaito (training sword), make your final cut and slice through your own wish tag. This is not a religious ritual, but a hands-on experience designed to help you draw a line under the past and take a fresh step forward.
