- In this tour, we will learn more about the political history of Kyoto and Japan.
- Japanese emperors lived from 794 to 1868 in Kyoto Gosho, the imperial palace in Kyoto. The Tokugawa shoguns (military governors) were based in Edo (Tokyo) but were able to rule near the emperors from Nijo Castle from 1626 to 1868. This castle is close, within walking distance.
- In this tour, you will learn more about the History of Japan, with your guide, passionate or even graduate in Japanese History, who will explain to you the ins and outs of Japanese politics of yesteryear.
