Mount Yoshino is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and part of a vast national park in Nara Prefecture. According to old legend, in early April you can see 1,000 cherry blossom trees in every direction, and it’s true: there are more than 30,000 of them in total.
Nara Park is an urban park located at the foot of Mount Wakakusa in Nara City. It is a must-see for tourists in Nara. Mount Wakakusa, located near the park, is a wonderful place to overlook the scenery of Nara and is one of the 100 most famous cherry blossom spots in Japan.
