Amanohashidate is a scenic spot located in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture. On the 3.6km long sandbar that separates the Sea of Japan's Aso Sea from Miyazu Bay, a row of trees consisting of about 8,000 pine trees stretches out. It is listed as one of the three most scenic views of Japan along with Matsushima (Miyagi Prefecture) and Miyajima (Hiroshima Prefecture).
Ine is located on the Tango Peninsula north of Kyoto. The streets of this small seaside fishing village are quiet and simple. The fishing village is built along the Ine Bay, leaning against the mountains and rivers, stretching for nearly 5 kilometers. It has green mountains and clear waters and a beautiful environment. It was once rated as one of the 18 most beautiful villages in Japan.
