[Ine Town] was rated as one of the 18 most beautiful towns in Japan by the Japanese. There are about 230 boat houses along the 5-kilometer coast of Ine Bay facing south. It is currently the town with the largest number of old boat houses in Japan. People living in the boat houses still coexist with the sea in front of them.
