At Kyomachiya Experience Workshop Waraku, located in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City, you can experience making Japanese miscellaneous goods and Japanese accessories. We offer a variety of production plans, including hairpins, gold-colored Yuzen, and thread-wrapped andon. We use bamboo from Kyoto from about 200 years ago, and you can choose your favorite pattern, so the design is up to you! Our store is easily accessible, about a 10-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station.
