- What to expect

Outside the busy hours, join us for a calm and culturally rich morning. We begin with a guided visit to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, one of Kyoto’s most iconic sightseeing spots, that attracts approximately 12,300 visitors per day. Through the old streets of Kyoto we arrive at the local café to savor the traditional Japanese breakfast bit by bit. The meal includes various Japanese flavors – some of them are pretty unique. You don’t have to eat everything, but we encourage you to give it a try! To start your day like a Japanese, sample a typical breakfast, which includes (but not limits to): - 3 types of Japanese pickles - Salted plum - Rice with raw egg, bonito flakes and soy sauce - Tofu - Grilled salted salmon - Fermented soy beans - Miso-soup - Furikake
