You can choose to get on or off the train in Osaka's Namba or Kyoto, and visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a World Heritage Site and cultural property of Kyoto, Arashiyama, known for its beautiful scenery in all four seasons, Kinkaku-ji, a three-story pavilion covered in gold leaf inside and out, and Sanjusangendo Temple, where a life-size statue of the Thousand-Armed Kannon stands. For lunch, you can choose Kobe beef, one of the three highest-grade Wagyu beef varieties in Japan.
