This is a slightly high-class izakaya with seasonal seafood dishes, Kyoto local sake, and a retro atmosphere. In the kitchen of this humble izakaya in Pontocho is a veteran chef who has been preserving the flavors of a high-class inn in Tango Miyazu, the Kyoto of the Sea. Our chef, Masajiro, whose skills have been praised by the owner of one of Kyoto's leading inns, serves high-quality Japanese cuisine at a reasonable price, which is what you might expect from a formal restaurant.
