Our **90-minute Geisha (Maiko) Experience Event** takes place at Kounji Temple, a 13th century Zen temple and Japanese garden located conveniently by Nanzenji Temple. **This temple is ordinarily closed to the public, so don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!** # What to expect: * Two traditional dances * Learn and play two traditional Japanese parlor games (zashiki) with the maiko! * Take pictures with the maiko in a traditional Japanese tatami room! * Entry to ordinarily closed Kounji temple and garden * Q&A with English-speaking guide/interpreter * Small group size (max 10 participants) ## What is a Maiko?
