What to expect

Awaji Hanasajiki was established by Hyogo Prefecture in April 1998 as a flower viewing spot befitting the island of flowers. At the top of the northern hills of Awaji Island, at an altitude of 298-235m, a plateau gently sloping down towards the sea is home to a flower field that changes with the seasons. (Area: approx. 15ha) A grand panorama of flowers unfolds with the Akashi Strait and Osaka Bay as a backdrop, and the lovely flowers that change with the seasons will take you to a dream world. It was named Awaji Hanasajiki as it is the best viewing seat from which you can enjoy the carpet of flowers spreading out below you. As it is a seating area, please feel free to wander around and find your own seat. Experience a space of relaxation, peace and healing in this best seating area overlooking the flower fields in the sky. Rape blossoms and purple sage (March to April) · Sunflowers (late July to mid-August) · Salvia (mid-August to early November) · Stocks (mid-November to late February). From March to mid-A
