Himeji Castle, affectionately known as "White Heron Castle," is a World Heritage Site that not only showcases the pinnacle of Japanese castle architecture, but is also a rare cultural heritage symbolizing peace as it has survived countless wars. Its chalk-white castle tower, which has maintained its original appearance for over 400 years, has witnessed the changing times while avoiding destruction and being passed down to future generations. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the war. For this event, creative company NAKED, which has previously organized art events at some of Japan's most unique venues, including the World Heritage Site Nijo Castle and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, will envelop Himeji Castle at night in light art, centered around the participatory art project "DANDELION PROJECT," which connects prayers for peace through art.
