## 【Asahiyama Zoo】 Asahiyama Zoo is located in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, and is the northernmost zoo in Japan. It has now become one of the most visited zoos in Japan. Who says that most animals in zoos are closed and hibernating in winter? Strolling through Asahiyama Zoo in Hokkaido on a snowy day is a unique experience! Cute penguins walk together in the snow, clumsy raccoons climb over your head making faces, curious seals shuttle up and down in the glass column playing around, and monkeys huddle together for warmth. ## 【Shikisai-no-oka】 Shikisai-no-oka has a vast and beautiful flower field covering 15 hectares, like a seven-colored rainbow carpet, with different flowers in different seasons. From the end of May to the end of October every year, more than 30 kinds of flowers such as tulips, lavender, and sunflowers bloom in competition on the rolling hills.
