[Asahiyama Zoo] Who says that most animals in the zoo are closed to visitors and hibernate in winter? There is also a lot of fun to be had visiting Asahiyama Zoo in Hokkaido on a snowy day! Cute penguins walk together in the snow, clumsy raccoons climb overhead and make faces, curious seals shuttle up and down in glass columns, playing and circling, and monkey groups snuggle together to keep warm. The biggest feature here is that the animals are kept in a relatively free breeding state to the greatest extent, and visitors can observe the animals at zero distance through clever displays (this itinerary arranges for viewing the penguin walk at 11:00 am in winter) (the penguin walk is subject to the official schedule from mid-December to mid-March of the following year each year). [Forest Elf Terrace] Ningle Terrace in Furano is a forest handmade experience workshop built with inspiration from a character in the novel by Japanese writer So Kuramoto (to be precise, a small elf about 15cm tall living in a large f
