- What to expect
-
Kagura, which is mainly found in the northwestern part of Hiroshima Prefecture, has been performing a variety of different themes over the years, while still respecting its role as a religious ceremony. It has become a highly entertaining performance. Most of the plays performed are well-known stories from Kagura, Noh, and Kabuki, which are familiar to Japanese people. By displaying English subtitles on stage, we hope that people from overseas will be able to easily experience Japanese culture.
