In Aizu, there is the historic Aizu Wakamatsu Castle, which has a history of about 630 years. After going through war and reconstruction, today's Aizuwakamatsu Castle shows the style of the late Tokugawa period with its restored red tiles and ancient facilities, attracting every visitor. Stepping out of the castle, you will encounter the Aizu Wakamatsu Castle Hall, which was rated as one of the "Top 100 Souvenir Facilities in Japan." Here, you can experience Aizu's folk arts, taste local delicacies, and select exquisite souvenirs to feel the unique charm of Aizu. Along the picturesque Tadami River, the First Tadami River Bridge is known for its stunning valley and autumn foliage views, making it a photographer's paradise. On the way to these attractions, the "Road Stop Ose Kaido Mishima-juku" offers local specialties and delicious soba noodles. This is a great place to rest and enjoy delicious food, and Mishima Town's paulownia products are also on display.
