The Yamato Museum introduces Japan's history since the Meiji era, showcasing the efforts of our ancestors and their lifestyle. You can learn about the history of Kure City and the importance of various technologies, such as shipbuilding. It displays a 1/10 scale model of the battleship ""Yamato,"" the Zero fighter aircraft, the torpedo ""Kaiten,"" and the submarine ""Kairyu."" Outside, you can also see the primary weapon of the battleship ""Mutsu,"" the Shinkai Yacht, and a park similar to the size of the Yamato battleship.
