10:30 Kiyomizudera Temple (150 minutes stay including lunch time) Kiyomizu-dera Temple was founded in 778 and is famous for its marriages. It is the oldest temple in Kyoto. Since the Heian period, people have been coming to worship the "Kwannon of Kiyomizu". Kiyomizudera Temple has buildings from the late 15th to the 17th century, including the Jishu Shrine. The main hall (national treasure) is a stage-style architectural structure that stretches forward and stands on the cliff with the cherry blossoms and greenery in spring, the red leaves in autumn, and the beautiful scenery of the four seasons as the background. "Qingmizu's Stage" is famous, and the view of the city from here is breathtakingly beautiful. There are 15 important cultural properties in the courtyard, including the inner courtyard, Amida Hall, and the three-story pagoda.
