Mid-October to late November is the perfect time to enjoy autumn leaves on the Gozaisho Ropeway. Ride the ropeway for a panoramic view of the fiery red forests and the unique rock formations of Gozaisho Mountain. In winter, the mountain is famous for its hoarfrost and ice waterfalls, with hoarfrost visible above 1,000 meters from late December to mid-March. You'll also visit Nabana no Sato, part of the Long Island Resort, known as Japan's largest garden.
