• Experience SUP (stand-up paddle board) in the Shakotan Blue Sea, which is famous for its beautiful blue color even in Hokkaido.
• Experienced guides will guide you, and even beginners can participate. The tour will be adjusted according to the level of the participants.
• Birds of prey, such as sea cormorants and buzzards, can only be seen along the sea.
• You will have the opportunity to snorkel and observe the Shakotan blue sea. Free rental of fishing rods is available for those who wish to use them.
• You can also observe columnar joints—regular columnar cracks caused by lava from volcanoes that cool and harden slowly, which can only be seen from the sea. The Shakotan Peninsula is the only area in Hokkaido where the coastline is designated as a national park. The Shakotan Peninsula, including Cape Kamui, has been designated as a Hokkaido Heritage Site because of its remarkably developed sea cliffs and the beauty of its underwater park.
