- When you land at an airport in Japan, you may be surprised to see letters you have never seen before. Japan's writing culture is very different from that of alphabet-using countries. Japanese is a rare language that uses a mixture of three different characters. And, newspapers and books are written vertically.
- Let's experience this unique Japanese writing culture. Writing characters with a brush and black ink on white paper is both an art and a meditative experience.
- All calligraphy tools are provided. You just come empty handed.
- Calm your mind, concentrate on writing and finish your own work.
