• Undiscovered by most visitors to the city, a step down these alleyways is a step back in time to retro post-war Showa Era Japan. Follow your nose down the lines of hundreds of tiny izakayas (Japanese pubs). As most only sit around 8-10 customers at a time, it can be a little intimidating to enter on your own, but on this tour, you’ll be joined by a local guide! Let them introduce you to all the best places and help you navigate the language barrier as you eat, drink ＆ chat to the friendly locals.
• ※Due to the overcrowded nature of Izakayas on tours departing on Fri, Sat, Sun and Public Holidays, the number of Izakayas we visit will be reduced from 3 to 2. You will still be able to enjoy a total of 3 drinks and the volume/quality of food will be the same as if you were visiting 3 izakayas. We ask for your understanding.
