- 活動概要
-
- Slip into a silk kimono and glide beneath Asakusa’s crimson Kaminarimon lantern toward incense-scented Senso-ji. Guided by a local, you’ll practice true shrine etiquette—ladle cleansing, coin offering, bell ringing, omikuji fortune—and discover the meaning behind each ritual. Between stops, sample Edo-style bites: charcoal-toasted senbei, sizzling tempura skewers, and matcha-filled taiyaki baked before your eyes. Every step, flavor, and gesture immerses you in living, traditional Japan far beyond the usual tourist trail.

First, you will don a kimono—the traditional Japanese garment—at a kimono shop near Asakusa Station. There are many types of kimonos available, and you can choose your favorite pattern and color from a wide selection. Because kimonos have a complex structure and are difficult to put on by yourself, a professional dresser will assist you. While some vendors in Asakusa rent out cheap imitation kimonos for tourists, on our tour you will wear genuine, time-honored Japanese kimonos.
