- Keita Suma straddles the line between artisan and artist in his work with iron. His obsession with the material extends to his enthusiasm for sharing it with others: guests can look forward to friendly, personalized instruction during this intimate one-on-one workshop, as Suma teaches how to hammer iron into a stylish, durable frying pan. By the end, guests develop a newfound appreciation for iron as a material, and possibly even a newfound appreciation for what you can accomplish if you set your mind to it: the result of the workshop is not only a souvenir of a visit to an artisan’s studio, but the direct result of hard work and not giving up.
