- Located right in front of the ski lifts to Shiga Kogen Sun Valley Ski Resort, Villa Alpen offers simple rooms with mountain views. There are 2 computers with WiFi at the lobby which guests can use for free. Ski equipment rentals are available but must be reserved at time of booking.
- Rooms feature heating facilities, green tea bags and a thermos bottle. All rooms come with a private toilet and a washbasin, while some rooms come with a private bathroom as well.
- Guests can sit by the fireplace at the shared lounge and enjoy drinking local beers and cocktails. Ski storage is available and guests can use the coin-operated launderette as well. Free on-site parking is available during the summer season.
- Guests can enjoy various international dishes for dinner while a Japanese-style breakfast is prepared daily at the dining area.
- Alpen Villa is a 25-minute drive from Yudanaka Train Station and a 30-minute drive from Snow Monkey Park. JR Nagano Train Station is a 1-hour drive away.
