• Our final stop is the either [3/5 - 4/11] Kairakuen OR [4/14 - 5/14] Hitachi Seaside Park. Kairakuen is one of Japan’s top three gardens with over 3,000 plum trees blooming in shades of white, pink, and red. The Mito Plum Blossom Festival attracts visitors with stunning views, tea ceremonies, and seasonal events. While Hitachi Seaside Park, rolling hills covered in baby blue nemophila in spring, also features a Ferris wheel and open fields, making it a perfect place to unwind.
