- At "YAKKO," participants join a hands-on sushi-making class led by local chefs, learning to prepare Koshu Sushi, a specialty of Yamanashi. Guests will master techniques they can easily recreate at home, such as adding a sweet soy glaze to fresh fish for an authentic flavor. Alongside sushi-making, participants will explore the traditions and history of Yamanashi's unique cuisine. The class includes an introduction to pairing sushi with local sake, offering insights into flavor combinations. Vegetarian options are available upon request. This cultural and culinary experience, set against the stunning backdrop of Mt. Fuji, provides practical skills and unforgettable memories.
