- The essence of 'Japanese calligraphy' is not about writing beautifully and correctly. It is a way of expressing a multitude of emotions using extremely simple materials: ink and water. The programme was created by a calligrapher who has studied calligraphy at a prestigious school in Kyoto and has spent half of his life walking the way of Japanese calligraphy. Take time to immerse yourself in the art in a comfortable space in a renovated 100-year-old house, while enjoying the view of the garden.
