• At Shikisai no Oka the eye-catching Patchwork Road is made of various colorful flowers blooming all through May to October. The best time to view flower blossom is between late July and September, the landscape on the hillside is overwhelmingly beautiful! Also alpaca is firstly bred here at Shikisai no Oka in Hokkaido and is greatly liked by visitors.

The first Alpacas to be raised in Hokkaido, are being raised on Shikisai-no-Oka. They are quickly becoming popular mascots to children who visit from all over the world.
