- Only 1 hour train ride from central Nara or Osaka takes you to Asuka village, where a beautiful pastoral landscape still remains. The village is dotted with ancient kofun (tumuli) and remnants of palaces and temples that whisper tales of a bygone era. With your English speaking guide, learn the history when the country of Japan first developed various systems, and Japanese culture through soy sauce brewery visit, sutra writing, plant dyeing experience, and lastly local farm visit.
- Stay in BRANCHERA VILLA ASUKA which utilizes 150 year-old traditional Japanese folk house equipped with modern interior to feel like you live in this small charming village with quaint atmosphere (subject to change, depending on the availability).
