- Let’s beautifully display your calligraphy in a traditional way. I’ll teach you calligraphy from scratch, so even beginners can feel at ease.
- In our activity, we don’t stop at calligraphy practice-we also guide you through making a traditional Kakejiku (hanging scroll). You’ll have about an hour to practice calligraphy thoroughly, ensuring that even first-timers can write confidently.
- On the spot, we’ll turn your chosen calligraphy piece into a kakejiku, allowing you to select the best one from your practice to become your final artwork. Unlike typical calligraphy experiences where pre-made paper or scrolls leave no room for mistakes, I, as the successor of a kakejiku studio with over 100 years of history, am skilled in scroll-making.
- This is a one-of-a-kind experience in Japan where you can create both calligraphy and a kakejiku in the same day!
