- Explore lush woodlands and discover magnificent views of Mt Fuji while helping restore the environment.
- A local guide leads you in a half hour of easy litter pick up where the forest is most severely marred.
- Then we'll hike on relatively-flat paths that wind through enchanting groves and across emerald moss-covered lava beds in the Aokigahara Forest.
- Next, we visit a crystal-clear lake where Mt Fuji towers above the shore.
- After a lunch break, your guide will lead you in whichever of the following you prefer:
- a) hike gently-sloping wilderness trails where it’s possible to explore little-known lava caves, if you like
- b) hike uphill to a mountain ridge with a breathtaking view of Mt Fuji
- Your guide, a native English speaker, is knowledgeable about Japan and the local area and will share fascinating info and insights.
