- The samurai code of conduct is called bushido. This experience will introduce you to Iaido, the predominant swordsmanship style practiced by Samurai. Iaido revolves around the swift and controlled sword drawing to respond to any sudden attacks. From the controlled drawing of the sword, to deftly striking an opponent, and placing the sword back into the scabbard, all are significant components of Iaido. The traditional martial art of Iaido has been practiced by samurai for more than six centuries.
- Discover the true essence of Iaido by learning from a master, and get to slash a cardboard dummy with a sword. Admire the master's skill up close by watching his demonstration. As you go through the process, you will feel the sense of courtesy and discipline that are samurai values.
- Your experience will take place at International Iaido Organization HOGYOKUKAI, the largest organization that teaches Mugai Ryu. Learn directly from the masters!
